may get em' out of sheer curiosity.....I used to tie a fly called the royal glo.....looked crazy as hell...and matched absolutely nothing.....but down on the Saluda I stood on a boulder and caught at least fifty fish without moving with that fly....(was drifting it and letting it rise on the swing)......just never know till ya try it :?

Looks like a sure case of cabin fever to me.

Psycho-delic!

Actually, the three colors you've used are all effective as stand-alone colors for a wing case, so I would think that including all three in one wingcase would be just as effective, since the troots will key in on the one color they want, and the other two at least won't set off any alarms.

Send me a dozen. I'll field test 'em for ya, no charge.
(Okay, maybe a half dozen)

JT:

Just being able to see the top side of the fly, I believe mono ribbing palmered over the shellback would give the fly good segmentation and perhaps it would look a bit more realistic.

You need to learn to take better pictures. Oh crap, I forgot my New Years resolution.

Looks like the top side of a "jonny's green". Are you switching from polka-dots to stripes for the New Year? I know the colors be good!
