That particular Grass Carp was surface feeding on floatin' Catfish pellets...

Tried Pellet Flys many years ago and never had much luck.

Stumbled into many more fish (Bream, Catfish, Bass and the Grass Carp) with an ol' favorite search rig for pond fishing. A size #10-12 EHC with a size #12 GBGRHE nymph dropped a foot or three of the the Caddis.
