I have had several evening when the pond was alive with rising and jumping bass after dragon and damsel flies. They were being as selective as any trout in a tail-water. Wouldn't eat even the tried and true Stealth Bombers.

My questions

Any body have a dragon fly adult realistic that works in such a situation? Would you share?

How do you all tie a realistic that doesn't twist your leader to a 'phone cord'?

Check whitlocks crystal dragon fly

Its not a solid wing like most patterns so the twisting is kept at a minimum

Boo Radley... I have had great success with Carter Nelson's RLD.
I got turned on to these at the S/E FFF conclave at Callaway Gardens several years ago and now don't leave home without them.
