What you all working on at the lately? Cool stuff for mountain trout, tail-waters, lakes, rivers, or the deep blue?

I'm in the middle of a bakers dozen black/white bluegill pencil popper #10. Those use to be the go to on Douglas Lake. Hoping to get to go next week.

Anybody making stuff?

Sulphurs, BWOs, Craneflies, strippers, caddis etc. Wannabee fly fisherman for the majority of the year due to hunting habits but when I dive in I get up to my ears tying.

Not been tying in some time actually. I did just get a bunch of muskie lure components from luremaking.com - going to try my hand at some bucktail spinners if I get some time soon.

Where on Douglas you fishing, Brad? My family recreates at Little Bonanza across from Indian Creek. I fished down at Muddy Creek back one dawn to mid-morning back in early June; the lm bass topwater bite was winding down & the report then was trending toward slower presentations on the rocks from midnight to 4 a.m.... Good luck with the bluegills!

Folks have a camper at Inspiration Point formerly Red Weavers on Muddy Creek channel. Been a long time since I've stayed there. Hopefully next week will not be so dang hot.

All "meat" flies for smallies and trying to put a few together for Smokey to take to Co. in a couple of weeks.....all the work I'm doin' for him....I expect a pic of "Bowzilla" with one of my flies stuck in his lip!! I'll try to post a few pics this evening when I bring my stuff in from the truck to tie a few last minute flies for tommorow.
