My fly tying room has more often than not looking like a small tornado blew in and a few game animals were killed in the wake. I am not one of those everything in it's place folks :o Even though I wished a lot I were. Today I decided to start over and turn the tying room into something more than a vise in the middle of the pile. We'll Mrs T was off today and volunteered to help. (There's a catch hanging out I'm afraid. Just haven't seen it yet :? ) We worked most of the day organizing, labeling and boxing materials. Here's the result.

Yep that's a rabbit behind the book case. Your not drunk yet.

The draw back to this is I probably will never get to go into another fly shop the rest of my life

This is the best this room has looked since Brad took it over for his fly-tying room. :D (It was the den previously and the living room was laid out just for company. Now the living room is the family room complete with a few of little man's toys scattered about.) He cleaned out the closet and it's a great space for all his shoe boxes of materials and extra fly rods. (I'm very glad to have the extra rods/reels in the closet and not leaned about the room waiting for me to accidently step on, knock over, etc :o ).
He'll probably go to the fly shop again but at least he won't buy a spool of black thread when he has three at the house.

I wish the books were more tying and fishing and less drafting and engineering. Collect a lot in this business. Fortunately most of the non fiction and fly-fishing are free-bees from publishers to get me to adopt there's. Good books for reference but not what I need for the kids often enough.

Sure wish my room was that neat.

There appears to be several framed fish related certificates on the wall. I'm curious, what are they?
