I think I'm pretty close. It's hard for me to order much. I need to spend more time using it up :)

Here's two I have think about. A fly that acts like a Slug-Go and one that acts like a 6" Purple Plastic worm. I have a attempt at a worm ready for tomorrow. Used some clear silicon to maybe make the transition less of a hinge to the tail from the hook. We'll see :?

Brad one of the best producing lures in my pond is a grey sluggo SS unfortunately they've producing them a couple of years ago....I've been meaning to work on a fly using thin suede that would hopefully give similar results. My idea is simply to build a little bulk in the head and fold the suede over and trim thin about 7" long just using tiny drops of goop or something to keep it folded over the length of the body. Oh...and of course some big eyes! :D I tried several times to add eyes to the plastic ones....but could'nt get em' to stick without ruining the lure....plus they seem to work fine without em' :?

Dave Hise has a slugo type fly I think. He said it takes hours to tie. Probably layering on silicone or some such. Just superglue the slugo to a nymph hook!
