Here's a few Fox and Squirrels and Hares Ears for the river.

The Fox and Squirrel is a variation on the Fox Squirrel nymph. This version uses fox body hair for the dubbing. I was given a fox wall hanging that a friends dog didn't like or liked to well :)

Nice looking bream bugs for sure. I like the ones with the rubber legs the best.
I cannot tell what size the hooks are, but you want a 3X long hook on your sinking bluegill flys. Less chance of a gut hook on small bream.

Those bugs would float if you did not have a bead on them .. correct ???

They are #12 and #14's. The bluegill in the river seem not to suck them down deep. I fish them under a strike indicator or a foam dry. Usually add one shot to a double rig. The Fox and Squirrel caught probably my biggest smallie this year. Nymphing for bluegill against some rip-rap. Estimated around 4lb. I think both the bluegill and small mouth take this style bug a little craw-fish.
