Have any of you all every bought hooks or tying supplies from Hagan's? I order 100 #10 Nymph and 100 #16 Scud to see how they were for quality. Cost me $10 with shipping.

http://www.hagensfish.com

I had to pay a dollar extra to get less than 500 hooks.

I used to buy a lot of hooks from Togen's on Ebay.....but over the last year or two...I've become a big believer in buying quality stuff.....I'd rather spend the money on good quality Gamakatsu hooks and know what I'm getting.....the Togen's hooks have'nt given me any problems....but here recently I've been using a lot more big bass stinger hooks, salt water and specialty kind of hooks that only Gamakatsu or some of the other name brand offer.

yeah I like Hagen's; they are mostly a wholesaler so you are probably getting name-brand hooks of some sort...

Sure would like to hear how they work out for you. That's a great price for sure.

Maniac glad to hear you have traded with them and had good results. I'm really looking forward to getting my order and testing them out. I use a lot of certain sized hooks over time.

Yep....I've got a deal for anybody willing to bite....20,000 vintage mustad hooks. All are super thin wire hooks that are guaranteed to straighten out on all fish over 6 inches long. No need to worry about beads....they don't fit :(

Sorry to laugh...and honestly sorry to hear ya got screwed! But hey...bring a few (no more than a thousand) to left behinds....we might be able to work out a deal....seriously...I wanna try to get J started on tying flies (mostly for bluegill and maybe for small trout) and those might be good enough for her to practice on. What size are they??
