As always I'm learning stuff. Some useful and some that will require therapy :? I guess this has never been a big issue to me. Smallmouth, largemouth, redeye and the like here seem to be okay with a solid color and dot in the middle. The folks on the coast seem to swear by the eye balls and 3D stuff. Never seen one knocked off. Big jacks and sharks. The decal and 3D eyes on the flies I use em on always require a coating or two epoxy or adhesives.

I received a very prompt and courteous response from customer service at Spirit River:

Message: Do you have suggestions for how to make the stick-on eyes stay
attached to the dumbbell? I find that the eyeball stickers are coming
off before I remove the product from the bag. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions.

Reply: This should not be happening, if the eyes are coming of the sheet prior
to you even using them please take the back to the shop if possible and
ask for replacements. If that is not possible a small drop of super glue
should work. Please understand that this is not normal and if we have a
problem with our vendor we need to address it asap. Thank you for your
inquiry and have a Happy New Year!

Spirit River makes good products. IMHO, the stick on eyes are not the strongest component of their line up but I am not losing sleep over the issue.

Aaron et al.....Use a drop of adhesive called FabriTac(Michael's, Wal-Mart, etc.) under the decal eyes. They will not come off. Ever.

The end.

I'll have to try some of that "fabritac".....I also got to thinking after reading your post that "shoe goop" would probably make a great adhesive for those 3D eyes (without the dumbells). :D
