This is a belated update on our group bead order. I apologize for the delay…my steelhead trip to Erie turned into two trips.

I have placed an order for 119,000 beads and cone heads…wow….that represents a bunch of flies. It should take 4-6 weeks for the beads to arrive.

I did make a change to some of your orders. I only received requests for 100- 200 beads of certain sizes and colors. We are required to make a minimum order of 1000 of each size and color. I did a quick calculation and found out it would cost me more than $800 to fill these orders. I’m listing the colors and sizes. If there is enough interest in purchasing more of any of these beads, please let me know. I’ll place the order if we can get at least 60% of a size and color.

Blue tungsten : Sizes 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 2.5mm.

Pink tungsten: Sizes 1.5mm and 2.0mm.

Glowing tungsten: Sizes 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm.

Chartreuse tungsten: Sizes 1.5mm.

Red tungsten: Sizes 1.5mm, 2.0mm, and 2.5mm.

3d eyes- small, medium and large.

Dumbbells- small, medium and large , gold and silver.

Thanks for your patience.

Hey, Blake. Hope you caught some fish. Any pics? And thanks again for all of your efforts on this project.

If anyone wants to go in on dumb bells, I am flexible - lead, silver, 3D - doesn't really matter too much to me one way or the other. I will be tying Clousers, for the most part.

Aaron,

I'll up my order to 500 of each in small and medium tungsten dumbbells. I had originally ordered silver but will go with the majority.

Blake,

I'm interested in some of the Brass dumbell eyes. At least 100 each in small, medium and large. Likewise for the Tungsten dumbell eyes ifn there's enough people wanting the Tungsten. Willing to get more if needed to get to the minimum.

Don't use beads down here very often...

So,
When I'm up thar in them hills, I bum bead head flys offa Blake, Bill, Ralph or even JT (ifn nobody else is nearby).

Brass, silver, tungsten . . . small, medium, large -- it doesn't matter. I'm amphibious, too. Whatever the group wants is fine with me. I will taken 100 (or up to 500 or more) in each size. No doubt that I can unload any extras at cost to friends during the next SE FFF Fly Fishing Show and Expo (1st weekend in June, Unicoi, GA, if you can make it), or at our local CFFC meeting.

I would lean toward silver at this point if there is more consensus in that direction, but I really don't have a strong or informed opinion one way or the other. Croaker, brass or tungsten suits me just fine, too.

Blake, let me know what you need to top off the dumbell order. I'll take some for personal use plus buy some for CFFC raffle prizes. I prefer small or medium tungsten but will go with the flow.

Allan Dozier will likely want some, too. Probably large for fishing the Roanoke and the salt, but maybe some other sizes, too. Did he order some before?

Are these the numbers that you have or that you need to make a 1000 count?
Thanks
