Those were the best of times...funny how the innerwebs ebb and flow. Although, still some pretty good folks around, even if we're not as active on da webs. Still alot of good stuff. Thanks fer posting that Jack.

Kim 8-)

That spider wasn't mine Smoke. I did tie a realistic spider in one of em.

You do? Well so do I. I think the vote winner got a set and the other set was actioned off. How much did you pay?

I have a lst of who tied what in that contest. The trick is finding it.

Those really were the best of times though.

That they are, Croak, but for the big bass you might want to tie some 'footworms'.

Ralph.......Did you tie #7? I have a hopper from you that you tied at the first Lyin' & Tyin' that looks just like that one?

Don,

For the last 10 years, I have been tying an inch worm (canker) with a loop or a hump in it.
I actually think that it makes a difference to the trout.
I doubt that you have fished the Beaverdam during worm season (June-August) , but yo bug beez strong medicine then.

look in My Lyin' Blue eyes. STRONG MEDICINE !!

Jule,

Nope, not mine. The Hopper I tied was the Crystal Butt Hopper designed by our buddy Harrison Steeves.

I didn't enter any of the contest because I wasn't good enough to enter with those fine specimens.

Ralph :D

WOW, these pictures bring back a lot of memories,, yes i will lay claim to # 11 but # 3 is not mine Smoke, what i remember about this contest is when Gary's wife saw Plumbob's fly pattern, it was told that she picked up a fly swat and killed his fly...looks like Gary's camera was working pretty good this contest....srbandit(flytyer)
