thats the look Im trying for teach. I want the body to be narrow but some meat in the upper end .Might try some with the rubber legs just to give them some movement for a key to catch their attention.Thanks.

My skills aren't up to snuff with some of you guys but I'll play along. Not a black stone but the colors could be substituted pretty easy. Just a variant of a copper john with rubber legs tied on a size 12 Tiemco 200R. With all of the wire and the tungsten bead it sinks like a bowling ball. The brookies up here seem to like it - this one has a couple fish on it already. Pewee, it meets your requirements for a slim body with some meat up front.

the brookies like the flash of the copper.Try some chartreuse wire and rubber legs .The peathingy thorax will set it off.

I'll give it a shot. Reminds me of a guy I heard talking about fishing for rock fish one time...it don't matter what color it is as long as it's chartreuse!
