Sorry to hear that Bo. They are pond scum out there. Hope someone contacts you.

I bought a computer way back in the 70's for $2900 when that was a lot of money. I never got the computer, but I did have documentation and contacted the US Postal Inspector for the Southern District of the US. I sent them all the documents plus an audio tape for a conversation I had with the company. The company advertised in a magazine so it was mail fraud.

They nailed the owner and part of the plea agreement was to pay me back. Plus the guy got jail time in a federal prison.

Bo I am assuming you tried to contact them thru the featherheads website contact page?

I could imagine if they were reminded how fast info travels on the web and how much their target market is on the web, they would send the money.

Featherheads?! I have seen it all.

Edit: Holy cow. Did you see the pricing? $10 for 6 feathers selected in a 'patented forumla of color'

With the help of a guy on the Classic Rod (bamboo) forum, I was able to find
a phone number, contacted the lady (Dakota) on the phone, and she is
supposed to be sending funds immediately. I think she is connected
to the same site you shared.

We shall see.

Yeah, that feather thing is ridiculous and is actually causing
a shortage of Whiting saddles. This might give a new
meaning to the term: Female Adams :D

Take care and thanks again. Bo (PS: by the way, Hey Silver !!)

Yeah if you watch the video (which I did to help out Bo NOT because I like hippy chics and little white dogs) it says that the auther of the video is Dakota Hills

Bo, I'm gonna need a bunch of hackle, and someone who can start a website. Hope you get this taken care of. Maybe I should make some for the girls. Better yet, we should get with Dakota and offer to "recycle" all the odd or used hackle. :D
