I finally decided to mess with the brass tubing I got a couple years ago for making rattles. These are much-louder than the glass or plastic ones, & they have slightly-opened ends; they seem a little more loud than the brass ones you can buy, such as the ones used in the large Pole-Dancer fly, but I might just be biased because it took forever to make them & then sand them smooth...
