Yup. Fortunately, I was pretty well stocked up when this craze hit. I think it is limited mostly to dry fly saddles, though. Capes are still available at relatively reasonable prices.

It seems to be effecting saddles as well. I was looking for the saddles I usually get for Woolly Buggers. SOLD OUT everywhere I've looked. Who would thought that the $20 Bugger saddles would have become scarce?

I've started growing raised beds because I don't like to pay for regional bad weather. Guess now I'll have to find some Dominicker (sp?) chickens (grizzly) for this creepy fashion trend.

In all seriousness, I actually did see a very pretty woman in her mid-twenties here in Charlotte sporting some dyed grizzly. I thought about inviting her over to my place to show her some fancier feathers, but I saw some risk that she and/or my lovely bride would be skeptical of my pure intentions.
