Beautiful flies. And they are not just good bass flies. These are one of my favorite flies for trout and redfish on the Florida flats. That grey one would be dynamite. Also, the all white under belly definitely makes a big difference. Very nice tying.

Fine ties, indeed. I have the privilege of owning about a dozen of these deer hair flies. I got them well over two years ago. Have not fished them yet, and probably won't. They are just too dang purty. If I ever get back to the Boundary Waters I'm pretty sure I'll get them wet. Again, Tom, you tie an absolutely beautiful deer hair bug.

Those are darn right nice, Tom.
Have you ever toyed arpund with tying dinky Dahlberg Divers? They are just the ticket bull bluegill at times.

Jack....I've tied some using the pine squirrel zonkers....I think Peter has a couple. I would say they are maybe just a tad over 2" and I've had some brim hit em' but even the size 6 B10S hook must have been a little more than they could handle....should probably tie them on a standard streamer hook.
