I know that this time of year has a lot of draws away from the tying bench. It has for me. I've started doing as much stuff for my mom as she will let me. I haven't tied as much as usual for the days after school gets out. Today when the chores where wrapped up and Melanie and our son were off to bible school I tied.

Here's to restock the creek box some.

What have the rest of you all been doing at the vise? I would really enjoying seeing your stuff please.

Sulphurs, BWO dries and nymphs lately getting ready for another trip. Few new twists here and there with the materials for wings bodies etc. Been using some emu hackle fibers on sulphur nymps for tails and legs, think it's gonna work great. Stumbled onto a great streamer pattern last year, the woolygriz and turning out a batch of those as well. Other than that just trying to stock up on staples.

Crabs, clousers, and a tarpon fly with hair extentsions I found at the $ store. And after tying all these, I will fish with a Dupree 90% of the time.

I also tied a bunch of glow in the dark saltwater style poppers and a few foam "dancing frogs" .... but most folks found a simple chartruese popper sufficient to catch fish.

Good look and productive sounding work.

Tom I've made a few cork poppers along the way :) Wish I lived closer wouldn't mind a bit to fit a few.

Tom those look good :) Bass chow indeed.

I'm try to get some saltwater stuff tied to take on a trip. I am out of practice. Tied some mole crabs (sand fleas) and started tying some Erico Puglisi minnows ( they look passable so far). Got to get some Stiltsville shrimp going tomorrow. Big hooks and patterns I don't tie often are making the process awkward for me.
