Here's a few to carry to the saltwater.

First try at this style.

Image

Some shrimp for Trashflies.com. Tied from the plastic twine the have at the loading doors at Lowes. Found some today that's lite tan for bailing hay also polymer. Got a few pieces to try.

Fish eat mole crabs (sand fleas) in the surf. It made me think of Don shad fly with a cape on :)

Can I catch a few fish with these? I am in pretty good shape for bigger Clousers. May tie some Deceivers and smallish Clousers on the car trip down when I'm shotgun.

Now I know why you didn't want me to throw away the leftover twine from Lowes. Very shrimpy flies. :D

Those are nice Brad.
You might want to flip the hook so it rides point up on the shrimpies.
Awesome flies

southernfly I think I'm going to start doing that. They caught a lot of eel grass. Working on turning the shrimp more into a crayfish. The claws are giving me some issues.

Brad......Claws are over-rated. Tie in a small bundle of bucktail, and call it good. Anything that resembles the flat profile of the actual claw will make the fly spin in the air and roll in the water. Get with me at the Smallie Show and I'll show you a bucktail trick for claws. Too hard to explain here and I'm too lazy to do a tutorial. :)

I'm not going to be able to make the Smallie Show. I am looking forward to seeing the claws.
