Working it out on the Susquehana, Charlotte Creek, and Scoharie Creek in about 2 weeks. Maybe on the Mohawk too.

Yes, Marty...Hook point is sheathed in the bunny fur, but when it's wet, you can see the hook point, and it sticks the fish just fine. I tied one last night on a bigger hook with a larger hook gap. I might have to experiment with the hooks for a while.

The other benefit from the belly weights is that they act as a keel weight which keeps the hook point riding on top.
