Bet it's a flat killer too.

Fished something similar before but probably bigger. #10-12 hook, Wide lead underbody, turkey tail feather for abdomen with vinyl rib, bit of dark brown dubbing, black chain eyes and black rubber legs. Was trying to imitate dragon fly nymph, not sure how well that ended up but it catches fish.

Peewee that looks like a good one as is. I have been river bluegill fishing with a Thin Mint and a Hares Ear dropped off of it. Caught crappie, bluegill and catfish on the setup. That would be a even better dropper than the Hares Ear probably.

Shoot Brad,
All of Peewee's creations catch fish. I was just saying I'd tried something similar in a darker color. Never occurred to me to put yeller legs on it. That's just gotta make a gill bite when those wiggle. It's the "what ifs" that keeps me tying. Keep posting those new patterns fellas.

Peewee,

2 of the best ever deep water bream nymphs are the Chain Eye Bully ... authored by Backwoods Joe ----- And a leaded Blonde Tellico.

I like your bugs !! Pretty buggy in my opinion !!

I would suggest that you fish them under an indicator since the underwater bite may be very subtle.

The second one may fish better than the 1st since the hook will ride "up" .. Especially in a place that has lots of grass or wood structure
