Looks good peewee. If tied one or two sizes bigger, I think it would fish great for March Browns in the spring time too. Maybe even those really tannish Quill Gordons that we get towards the end of that hatch.

olive -gray dubbing......I spin the deer hair and trim both it and the hackles to set it low in the water.

Is that fly an off shoot of the Grey Fox Variant ?

I am quite sure that your bug will do fine in the creeks when The Gordons and Slate Mayflies are hatching. Nice Tie !

JT in the beginning I saw a bug called the August dun by Davie McPhail. To get the bug look shown by deshort I changed the body to moose mane.I think it will fish.
