I finally found the hackle pliers I always knew someone could come up with. They grip like mad and are very light weight and tiny for squeezing into tight spots. The surfaces are all polished and smooth to eliminate cutting or fraying tight thread.Tyflyz Tools makes playing with CDC fun again.

Silvercreek would be pleased to know that even this guy approves of them...

Charlie Craven was bragging on them at the Intl. Fly Tying Symposium. They are cool....

Gary told me about them before his blog year ago and he did rave about them. I haven't had a chance to try his but I'm glad they are as advertised. How much are they?

I've seen them anywhere from $10.00 - $12.00. Not a bad price at all for the innovation and functionality.

Maybe somebody will be selling them at the flyfishing show. Mine seem to always cut the feather.

I like it. I am constantly annoyed with hackle pliers. I imagine they would be a hot seller if someone had them at the show.

I put the feather in line with the straight tube as in the picture and have yet to break a stem off.
I'll have them at L&T. Just ask and I'll get them out for you.

If all the stars are in alignment, we should have some available at the show in Winston.

My birthday will be in a couple of months. If someone would like to give me a set i would be most appreciative. Somebody had a good day when they thought up these pliers. MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!

Hackle pliers arrived today...in spite of the snowstorm in Colorado. Although I've already sold a couple pair today, we should have plenty at the show in Winston.
