I have forgotten what clear coat to use on foam flies to make them more durable. Help Please?

I like flex-seal. That's what was on that popper I gave you a couple of years ago. Clear Cure Goo might work, but I haven't tried it on foam yet.

Joe,

I like Flex Coat. Same as used for finishing rods. Works great on foam.
I also use it for Epoxy Minnows. Stays clear for years unlike regular Epoxy...

THX guys, I'll try to find some flex seal. Now that my beloved Accardo is out of buisness, I'm trying more foam poppers and stuff. Maybe the flex seal will help'em from getting chewed-up so fast.

Softex? That might work. I like it, but I've never tried it on foam.

Anthony Hipps uses fabric paint on his highly durable poppers. I can attest to their durability.
For a few bucks at almost any craft store it might be worth looking in to.

Anthony Hipps's poppers are really tough as Jack said. On my little Betts looking popper I used spray can clear coat. They hold up really well. Lots of bluegill can attest.

If my memory ( what little I have left ) is correct I think "Disco Hipps" used water based
polyurethane thinned 1/3 water 2/3 poly. Coat and allow to dry then add additional
coats. After several coats still a little flexible but tough as nails
