A little something I've been working on. It's not good enough for critical review on the Classic Fly Tying Forum, but y'all have always been much kinder with your comments. I call it Candy Cane

Merry Christmas!

Beautiful fly, Paul. Technically, it rates as damn good, too, best I can tell. Merry Christmas.

Uh no Paul. I think it's definitely good enough.
Nice tie.

Thx, Bob. The body and ribbing were what I was focusing on. Bud Guidry gave me some tips on doing a triple rib that worked out well. Now I need to work on my technique for the shoulders (and cheeks) and head. Most fishing flies don't get fancy shoulders and who cares if the head is a bit long? Display flies require a whole different skill set....
