I'm confident they would be some of the best carved pumpkins anybody has ever seen :)

No Jule, a 32 would have to be a SoHo Pumpkin and not a Royal. Royals only go down to 28s.I may not be able to carve them but at least I've studied them.

Shhhezzz, the pumkin carving wannabees today!

Well lets get it on. I think the old format that loop and streamer had was fine with maybe one change, give a little more tying time, maybe post it so you can go into the weekend to tie it up. Just a thought I'll play either way. One other question are you going to send out 1099s for any of the prize money?

I think that the show and tell idea might work, just post a fly to tie but don't vote on the winner. Just leave it open to comments and suggestions from everyone. Most of us do this to learn new things and get ideas from others and most importantly to have fun. If you want to do something I am in.
GJ

I vote on this idea ...I like the idea of just giving someone a thumbs up for thier tie...or being able to post questions and so on....... I'm a little turned off by the whole thing of "don't post additional pics" and "we don't need comments just your vote" stuff....but still played along just for the sake of participation. If we really wanna learn from these things it would be great to maybe see two or three angles of the flie...it would reveal some things that could'nt otherwise be seen in the one finished fly pic. and being able to comment on a fly and so on would give us more to chat about than politics :D

So ...Gary....you gonna run the weekend show and tell? ( enter whistling smiley here )

We already have a couple of experienced folks that know how to run these things. And as for the rules I have always been in favor of the old saying. We only have one rule "There Are No Rules"
Wining has never been my priority in these contests, learning new things, seeing how others tie a pattern and having a good time is what I want. Getting feedback on what I did right and also what I did wrong and how to fix it would be nice.
As long as we don't have a Mod telling us that we can't talk about where to get stuff, I will play. :D
