It is just sick, sick I tell ya! First you want to actually toss a fly like that into the water and then you are disturbed enough to actually refer to it as a "desperate back up pattern". Just sick I tell ya. Kind of like an old bumper sticker that I used to have, it read: Don't laugh, my other girlfriend is a model".

Most of us try to ty fly's to catch a few, you..my friend, ty fly's that other insects want to date... Sick I tell ya, just sick . :D

Oh, thats a nice fly Plumbob :).

Va. Ben, the dating comment was a hoot. It's also true. There is no way I would put that fly anywhere near anything that might take it from me.

How he can put those in a fly box is beyond me, sick I tell ya :D I would expect them to be listed as "centerfold of the month" with the instructions replaced by a brief bio, turn on's and turn offs, with a choice of favorite book read.

It disturbs me! I have to go out and turn over rocks, to see what bugs are lurking about, and this nutt just tosses out one of those seductive "centerfold of the month" fly's. Seems like his bug hunting method utilizes the process of pulling all of the mating bugs off of his little temptress. I bet he even wonders why some of them don't work well, I'll tell you why Plumbosterisky. The durn trout think they are part of some glamour road show gallery, you know your good when even the trout don't want to mess the fly's up :D
