Want to upgrade my tying vise. Prefer something that has true rotary, small jaws for trying midges and is easy to adjust.
PM me if you have something you want to sell.
THANKS

When Renzetti's do come up on eBay, they don't go cheap!

If you can afford it, you won't regret it. I know I thought long and hard before I bought mine, and I kept looking at less expensive alternatives (check out Hook & Hackle's E-Z Rotary Vise for $45), but I realized that the Renzetti was what I really wanted, so I bit the bullet and oredred it. It's a lot of money, but it may well be the last vise you'll ever have to buy.

If you want to compare different vises in action, come by Lyin & Tyin' next month. We'll have a dozen different vises in action. Half the guys use Renzetti's but there's a good sprinkling of Peak, Regal, Dynaking, and a few others.

I agree whole heartedly. I started trying to learn on a cheap vise, it sucked and made tying tough. I decided to go with a Renzetti in part because it does hold its value (if I quit tying).

Vises and Vices:

I got a starter kit two years ago for Christmas. Didn't take me too long to realize I was hooked on tying. Upgraded to the E-Z vise within 6 months. Then realized that the jaw size and set screw adjustments were not going to be a long term solution for me. Now time to upgrade, hopefully for the last time.

Dan-vise seems like a choice, as does Peak, but I am open to options.

I was hoping that someone has a vise that they are not using and want to get rid of....

...at Peddler's suggestion I got the Renzetti Traveler from Orvis on sale for $119. Since I am left handed I got lucky because the LH model was all they had left at the sale price...now when I see Jack again I won't be so reluctant to show him my flies, cause all of us know what happens when Jack gets in your fly box.

Thanks Peddler for the heads up. :)

You won't be sorry. At least with the Renzetti. But you may have to endure Peddler's incessant reminders that it was he who helped you with the search. :D

Bring your new vise to L & T. That's why they call it the Traveler.

Yeah, I know. Maybe I have helped you guys out with Jack. Kinda like giving yourself up for the team...My pain, your gain.
I WILL be at L&T. THANKS,
bb
