Tryin' to keep this forum up-to-date a little bit, anyway....

Heavy rains predicted Wednesday and Thursday, so figured I'd better get out even though it was already drizzling. I haven't been out at all since the New Year. Headed up the road a few miles to an easy brookie stream, geared up, and slid down the bank and brambles. The water was in good shape and clear. First brookie of 2020 hit on the dry, then after a few more all on the dry I just cut off the dropper. All punes, of course, but pretty little things, they are. All in all, a fine way to spend a few hours!

thanks for the share

Gotta love a thunderhead

I saw a scant few rising fish a few days back and threw an EHC and they would not even look at it. So, I dug in my box and found a # 20 Griffiths Gnat. It took me 5 minutes to tie that little sumbitch on --Old and Blind. So, I threw it out there and a 10 inch bow came and got it and put the damn hole down - jumping and thrashing
Snow melt winter water is hard to catch fish in !!!!

Good to see you catch some. Been damn near a year since I caught a fish.
Hope to wet a line in the next week or so...
